Dragon Creek Weekly Update #2
This week I focused on getting the dragons capable of eating. To do so, first I needed to buy food. So working off last weeks town creation, I made it so the stores now sell stuff. The saddle maker now sells saddles based on ranks and completed achievements. The grocer now sells food and medicine. Once bought the game adds the items to the player inventory and saves the game. I also felt it would be cool if you could bring the dragon to town so I added that.
I have drawn feeding animations for all three current dragon breeds. When a player selects feed from the dragon menu, the player first selects what they want to feed the dragon, then they do a little animation where they walk in front, raise the food above their heads, then the dragon gobbles it up before the food bar increases.
